Billing

Plans, what counts as a request, and changing plans.

FOIAGen has three plans, billed monthly per user: Free (1 user, 1 request a month, no team invites), Pro ($5/user/month, 10 requests per user a month, team roles) and Team ($20/user/month, 100 requests per user a month, team roles).

A request is one letter sent to one agency. Drafts, follow-ups, appeals and replies do not count against your limit — only the send does.

Requests are pooled across the whole account, reset at the start of each billing period, and do not roll over. If you reach the limit you can still write drafts; an admin can upgrade the plan to send more.

An admin can change plans at any time from the account's Billing page. Billing is monthly, with no annual contract.
