Getting started

Set up your account, choose a plan and make your first request.

Create a FOIAGen account with an email and password, or sign in with your VeraGen ID. You start on the Free plan automatically: 1 user, 1 request a month.

From your account, describe what you are looking for in your own words. FOIAGen suggests the agency that likely holds the records, then drafts a request to that agency's own rules and format.

Nothing is ever sent without your click. Read the draft, edit it if you like, then send when you are ready.
